What is Ilanism you may ask? Well Ilanism is a religion I invented when I was 14. It has only one follower - ME. It is simply a personal philosophy combining many ideas from a number of religious traditions and spirtual practices as well as a few odd ideas that seemed very revolutionary to me at a young age, none of which are all that new in retrospect but the teenage epiphany and adolescent mind being what it is they seemed like a great world-shaping set of concepts I obsessed over for a few years.
Where is Ilanium ?- it is a conceptual landscape in my mind. It incorporates many historical and mythical planes of existence and is more or less a joking way for me to point out that this blog is a reflection of a somewhat self-obsessed nature.
